i used to be part of eve, i went out and bought an new graphics card and everything ( e-GeForce FX 5200 of course) and eve worked great. But this file appeared in my C drive, it was quite a while ago so i dont remeber what it was, but it couldnt be deleted and norton found it as a virus. my dad is paranoid about computers and called tech support for the computer. they said it was the card, so my dad made me take the card out and now i cant paly eve at all. anyone know why this happened

i cant remeber the name but it was probably spyware/adware, it couldnt be deleted because "it was in use by another program" but i think it came from the ghost recon game that came with it. i never really had problems with it until then. by the way, what antivirus program are you running.

thanks for your help guys, i think im goin to go ahead and install my card again tonight after my dad goes to bed. im almost 100% sure that he wouldnt notice a difference. i have downloaded the antivirus software, and i have also gotten Spybot Search & Destroy. i will deffinetly be posting again (with details) if the problem turns up.
